Do I have to buy anything from IRISGOLD to participate?

No, this is not necessary. You only need to visit one of our stores.

 

Can I subscribe for other people, or myself remotely?

Unfortunately, no. To participate in the competition, your personal presence in an IRISGOLD store is required

 

Can my family members subscribe separately?

Yes, as long as they are at least 18 years old, have a personal mobile phone number and an email account.

 

Can I book my stay for any time during the year?

Yes, even if it’s a high season!

 

What if the hotel is full on the specific days I choose?

You should choose another hotel or change your dates.

 

I want to extend my 5 days stay, is it possible by paying the difference?

Yes, if you mention this at the beginning of the booking so that the hotel can be notified.

 

Can I divide my holiday prize into 2 or more parts?

Unfortunately, not. Your accommodation should be single. You cannot divide the 5-stay into a 2-stay and 3-stay of different periods.

 

Can I give the prize to a relative or friend?

Yes, in case you win you can give it away to anyone!

 

Can I hand in the form with the crossword completed but without having filled in the personal details requested?

Your personal details must be completed and correct in in order to valid your participation in the competition, but to ensure that we can contact you in case you win!

 

Can I participate in the competition with a photo of the completed form on my mobile phone?

Unfortunately, not. Valid participation in the competition requires you to hand in the completed form in physical form.

 

Can I hand in my crossword answers and my details on a paper or document other than the brochure?

No. The registration will only be valid if you hand in the promotional form completed with the correct answers and your personal details.

 

Can I hand in the form without having filled in the correct answers to the crossword?

No, all answers must be correct. The questions are simple, relate to the history of Thassos island and you can easily find the answers using Google.

 

Will I need to carry an official identification document (identity card, passport, driving license)?

No, all that is required for your identification is your physical presence in one of our IRISGOLD stores.

 

How many people can accompany the winner?

The competition provides accommodation in an apartment which can accommodate up to 4 people and is usually chosen by families with young children. You can accommodate up to four adults but you will not have separate bedrooms.

 

In addition to the free nights, the winner's prize includes any expenses incurred within the hotel unit?

No. In case the winner wishes to use any of the hotel's services (restaurant, bar, shops, activities, etc.) he/she will have to cover these costs.

 

Does the winner's prize include other expenses such as transportation to Thassos, airline tickets or food in restaurants?

No. The prize is for accommodation only.

 

Can I upgrade my stay to all-inclusive?

Yes, you can by paying the difference from the standard accommodation.

 

Does the accommodation include breakfast?

Yes, breakfast is included.

 

If the winner owns a pet, can he/she carry it with him/her?

The selected hotels do not allow pets. However as mentioned we want you to use this accommodation if you win. In the case that you have a pet that you cannot leave in someone's care, we will try to find you another accommodation that allows pets. However, we cannot guarantee that this accommodation will have the same facilities as the hotels we have chosen.

 

If the winner is a disabled person, is there suitable accommodation available?

And in this case we will do our very best to ensure that the winner has a decent stay. If the selected hotels do not have such a capacity, we will suggest another accommodation that meets the special needs, but without committing to a comparable service.

 

At what point is it possible to choose accommodation other than the three listed in the competition?

In general, choosing accommodation other than the three listed in the competition can only be possible for exceptional reasons, such as lack of availability for the dates you have chosen, or because of other factors such as pets or special needs. However, we cannot guarantee that the accommodation we will recommend can offer you the same facilities as those already listed in the competition.
